Well Navigation Filtering & Channel Composite Images

May 20, 2026
Well Navigation Filtering

Well navigation now respects active filters, so stepping through wells only visits the ones that match your current culture status or classification result selection. Filtered-out wells dim visually on the plate, making it easy to see which wells are in scope at a glance.

Details

  • Toggle pill filters: New toggle-style pill controls let you quickly filter by culture status or classification result directly from the plate view
  • Classification confidence tinting: Classification overlays now use confidence-based tinting, giving a visual sense of model certainty across the plate
  • Coordinated UI state: Histograms and sidebar panels update to reflect the active filter, and filters auto-clear when you switch overlay types to prevent stale state
Channel Composite Images

The image viewer now supports composite channel images, merging multiple fluorescence channels into a single pseudocolor overlay. This solves a key workflow gap for instruments like the CQ1 where fluorescence datasets are captured as separate channels at the same timepoint — scientists can now view them together without switching back and forth.

Details

  • Per-channel controls: Adjust each channel's intensity with individual opacity sliders, letting you emphasize or suppress specific signals in the overlay.
  • Merge toggle: Switch between the composite merged view and individual channel views with a single click in the toolbar.
  • Canvas-based rendering: The overlay uses direct canvas compositing for smooth, responsive interaction even with multiple high-resolution channels.
