The AI assistant now supports direct threshold filtering for culture listings. You can ask questions like "which wells on this plate are above 80% confluence?" and get precise, server-side filtered results without waiting for the assistant to process large datasets in-context.
Previously, the assistant fetched all cultures and filtered them after the fact — slow and unreliable for large plates. Filters are now applied directly to the query, so results are accurate and responses are faster regardless of plate size. The update also resolves edge cases where threshold queries could get stuck, making them more robust.
When you adjust brightness, contrast, or channel settings in the well view and hit "Apply to all," those adjustments are now reflected in the plate thumbnail view as well. Previously the plate view always showed raw unprocessed images regardless of your settings, making it difficult to review wells at the plate level after tuning your imaging parameters. Exports also consistently capture these adjustments, so what you see in the plate view matches what you get in the exported image.
The Cultures page already lets you select multiple plates to archive or unarchive in bulk — now you can reassign ownership the same way. Select any number of plates in multi-select mode, choose "Set owner" from the action bar, and apply one owner (or clear the current owner) across all selected plates at once. This replaces a workflow that previously required opening each plate's sidebar and updating it individually — a real friction point when handing off a full experiment.
The assistant now surfaces generated plate reports as dedicated report cards — complete with embedded plate overview images and a full report viewer modal. Reports render Markdown analysis alongside plate visuals and support print-to-PDF so you can share them outside the app.
The assistant identifies report requests automatically and switches into report mode for consistent, artifact-quality output.
Improved well image loading performance, eliminating a multi-second delay when opening high-resolution cell images
Eliminated visible flickering in the Live Timeline schedule bar during real-time polling updates
The AI assistant now retries automatically on transient network failures and stays visible when brief status checks fail
Ask "which cultures are growing fastest?" and get answers based on real observation deltas rather than latest-snapshot confluence values.
Image classification reviews now automatically record the reviewer's identity and timestamp, creating a clear audit trail for QA workflows.
Internal system context no longer appears in your conversation history, keeping AI assistant chats clean and focused on your actual interactions.
A confirmation dialog now appears before applying filter changes across all plates, preventing accidental bulk modifications.
Expanded culture rows in the cultures table are now visually clearer, making it easier to distinguish individual cultures at a glance.
The assistant can now automatically retry recoverable tool errors, producing more complete and accurate responses.
The full-screen assistant panel now auto-collapses when you click a plate or culture link in chat, landing you directly on the referenced item.
The assistant now accurately interprets time references like "today," "this week," and "last 3 days" using your local timezone.
