Custom culture views can now trigger alerts on the dashboard. Enable alerts on any saved view, and when plates match that view's filters, a notification badge appears in the dashboard header. Clicking it expands a notification panel showing each alerting view with a plate count and a direct link to the filtered cultures page — no manual checking required.

• Per-view toggle: Enable or disable alerts from the view create/edit form or the tab context menu.
• Notification center: Dashboard shows an amber pill when alerts are active; expanding it reveals a stack of notifications, each linking to the matching view.
• Auto-refresh: Alert counts update automatically every two minutes.

Cultures now support a formal review workflow with pending, approved, and rejected statuses. Reviewers can set review status directly from the plate page, and two new filters on the cultures page let you find cultures by review status at both the culture and plate level. Each review decision is stored as a durable record, providing a clear audit trail of who reviewed what and when.
