Quickly bookmark any plate or well and find it again from a dedicated Favorites section in the left navigation. Toggling a favorite is instant — optimistic UI updates the star immediately while syncing in the background. The feature is gated behind the favorites feature flag and available on request.

Plate and well sidebars now display per-channel imaging metadata — exposure time, camera gain, illumination intensity, Z offset, and excitation/emission wavelengths — in collapsible panels. This surfaces the instrument settings that matter most when comparing fluorescence images across observations, without requiring a trip to a separate metadata screen.
