Image Sharpening & Plate Selection Improvements

July 15, 2026
Image Sharpening for Well & Plate Views

Scientists reviewing culture images can now dial in edge enhancement with a new Sharpen slider (0–100) right in the image tools panel. The effect applies live to well and plate display, montage views, and both export paths, so a sharpened image looks the same wherever it ends up.

This feature is currently in early access — reach out to your Monomer contact to have it enabled for your organization.

Behind-the-Scenes Fixes & Tweaks

Yokogawa CQ1 & CQ3000 uploads now retain their original image files.

Per-stage ingestion health surfaces stalled data pipelines early, before delivery backs up.

The Monitor AI Assistant now runs on Claude Sonnet 5 on US deployments, delivering more accurate, higher-quality responses.

Composite images for full 96-well plates that previously failed to generate now load correctly on the plate page.

Shift+click on the plate page now shrinks an existing well selection, matching arrow-key selection behavior, for more precise selection adjustments.
